Discover One of the UK’s Puffin Paradises 🐧🇬🇧 Looking for a magical wildlife encounter? Head over to this stunning island off the coast of Wales where over 40,000 puffins gather during the breeding season. Here’s everything you need to plan your visit: 🎟️ Getting There: Round-trip boat tickets (including island access) are around £40 per person. These trips are incredibly popular, especially during peak puffin season, so it’s a good idea to book early via @_pembrokeshireislands. I booked mine in February! 📆 When to Go: The best puffin-spotting season runs from May to July. 🧳 What to Pack: Facilities on the island are minimal, so bring your own snacks and water. Sturdy walking shoes are a must. Don’t forget to carry all rubbish off the island — it’s a vital habitat and needs protecting! 🅿️ Parking Info: You can park at Martin’s Haven car park for £7 per day, or free if you’re a @nationaltrust member. The car park is just a short walk from the check-in point. 🌿 Respect the Wildlife: This island is an essential nesting ground for seabirds, especially puffins. Keep your distance, stick to the paths, and respect their space to help preserve this special place.
