LOCATION ⬇️ Save this for your next Coromandel adventure 📍 Welcome to Cathedral Cove 😍 or should I say, Narnia! 🌅 Go early morning and/or during the week to avoid crowds. Sunrise is magical here — golden light pours through the arch and the beach is quiet. Midday can get PACKED, especially in summer. 🚶 The main track from the carpark (at Grange Rd, Hahei) is closed indefinitely due to storm damage. There are shuttles to the main track or there is another carpark called the “Cathedral Cove Gateway Trail” which provides access and cost $15 per vehicle. Other ways to access are by boat, kayak, or water taxi from Hahei Beach. 🌤️ There are no shops at the cove, so bring water, snacks, and sun protection. Swimming is beautiful but be cautious — rips can form easily. If you want fewer people in your photos, head towards Stingray Bay or Gemstone Bay along the same coast.
