What we spent our first day in Auckland New Zealand we landed at 7 AM and so our goal was really just to stay awake until nighttime. We asked the hotel what we should do and they all recommended because we were there so early to take the ferry over and do Waiheke island. we had a great day we rented regular mountain bikes from a little shack in the parking lot by the ferry terminal from a guy named Jonathan and the bikes worked great ! @wild.estate - fun atmosphere and great fries! @stonyridgevineyard -amazing views and a great tasting flight @postagestampwines -my favorite wine of the day was the Chardonnay here! @thehekewaiheke -amazing food and great drinks! So most of you look at this and see that it was a pretty expensive day however we had prepaid for our hotel months ago so that wasn’t coming out of pocket that day, which made it day a little easier to afford. #newzealand #adventure #winetasting #travelgram #wanderer #waihekeisland
