All you need to know ↓🏨 🏔️ @emeraldlakelodge is an iconic hotel in the heart of the Rockies that sits on Emerald Lake in Yoho national park. We visited in 2021 and it was one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. 💰 Prices start from £140 per night in low-season, which is cheaper than what we paid per night to stay in a basic hotel in Vancouver. I was happily surprised at how affordable Emerald Lake Lodge could be. 🍁 The lodge is open year round and is beautiful in all seasons. We visited in the fall before the lake froze over for the winter so made the most of the cozy amenities such as the wood fireplaces in every room. 🛶 Providing the lake has defrosted, during the spring/summer they offer kayak rentals which we were gutted we weren’t able to do on our trip. The water is literally crystal clear, has a beautiful turquoise reflection and is very calm to paddle on. 🚐 There are no cars allowed on or near the property and so when you arrive at the car park which is a 20 minute walk away from the lake, you call the hotel’s free shuttle bus to pick you up. This was a really nice feature to be included. 🔥 Guests can benefit from a range of amenities including a hot tub and club room.
