βΊοΈπ Coastal camping just 2.5 hours north of San Francisco at Salt Point State Park. We opted for Woodside Campground on the less coastal side of the iconic Hwy 1 which allowed for protection from the wind and more shade from the trees. (And TBH you donβt really get ocean views from the Gerstle Cove Campground anyway.) π₯Ύ We did a 3ish mile out-and-back trail that followed the rugged coastline (sea lions included) and ended at the sandy cove of Stump Beach. During the rainy season there is even a waterfall that falls into the ocean from Philips Gulch. π Salt Point State Park ~ 25050 CA-1, Jenner, CA 95450 βΊοΈ Save this campground for your next summer trip and follow @erinlovesfun for more California fun π βββββββββββββββββββββββ Camping in the Bay Area, best camp spots Northern California, campgrounds in Sonoma county, campgrounds near San Francisco, campgrounds off of Hwy 1, Jenner, camping near Russian river #jennercalifornia #saltpointstatepark #californiastateparks #visitsonomacounty #visitsonomavalley #lifeopensup
