Why you should plan your Disney trip ↓🐭 Before I went to Disneyworld, I used to think people were crazy for planning their trips so extensively. That person is now ✨me✨ 💰 Disney is expensive. There’s no other way to put it. So if you’re paying a lot of money for your trip then you want to get the most for your money and do as much as you can in the time you have. 🍔 Dining reservations (which are reservations for specific restaurants and bars on Disney Property) open 60 days in advance for guests staying onsite. This is a huge perk to booking with Disneyworld and staying on site and these reservations become near on impossible if you leave them to the last minute. You have to log on at 11am GMT time 60 days before to ensure you get all the bookings you want and that they correlate with the park/resort you plan to be in on a specific day. ⏰ You need to know the hours, and magic hours of each park. Each park mostly has a different opening and closing time. You want to make sure you’re there for rope drop if you want to make the most of rides pre-queues. If you’re a resort guest, make sure you use the perk of magic hours which is usually an extra 30 minutes in the park before general opening. 🧞‍♂️ Genie Plus has now left the building, but if you want to reserve the new version of fast pass, then upon arrival in the US, Guests of Disney Resort hotels can purchase passes up to 7 days in advance of their stay—and other Guests can purchase passes up to 3 days in advance of their park visit. 🎪 Planning in advance leaves you aware of any parties going on. For example, on the days of the Halloween party, Magic Kingdom will close at 4pm unless you have tickets for the event. This means no firework show on party nights etc. Plan to see all the shows you want on days you know they’re definitely running. ✨ Planning adds to the excitement!
