It’s time of reflection and deep sorrow in Korea. Both Koreans and foreigners are saddened of the unbearable loss of so many young souls. It’s time to mourn. May they rest in peace. All over the country there are mourning alters and day and night people pay respect to the lost in the Itaewon stampede. People bring chrysanthemum, soju, sweets, heat packs, and pay their respect. While I was there a group of young people brought huge amount of white chrysanthemum to share with other people attending. It’s emotional and sad time. Unfortunately nothing we do can bring this young souls back to life, but we can remember them, try to be better and do all in our abilities to prevent something like that to happen again. Seoul is one soul today, tomorrow, and I don’t know how long. You can sense the enormous sorrow! Praying for the affected families and friends who are living their worst days….
