One of the major Perks of my job is the time off I receive (6 weeks) which for any American job is a lot! I do love my job my coworkers and actually working a 9-5, but I am one of the few employees who takes all there PTO religiously. At the end of the day a company can fire you at any point. Not taking PTO doesn’t save you from layoffs. I have had friends and family who rarely take PTO thinking that would save them from being apart of the downsizing of their company and then got laid off right next to their coworkers who did. If your company offers PTO take it, use it, and live your life!
