The Castle Peak Hike in Hong Kong is a very steep 600-meter ascent to a radio tower that sits along the beautiful ridge overlooking the Tuen Mun region. Castle Peak is also named Pui To Shan from a Buddhist monk Pui To Sim Shi who once lived here. Later it was renamed to Castle Peak due to its castle shape and It was once a station for military troops. It is an easy-moderate hike. Views were incredible and it was a great hike. I’m in love with the wavy ridges of Castle Peak Hinterland, Tuen Mun skyrise, and Shenzhen China. #hikinghongkong #castlepeak #hiking #mountains
