All foreigners staying in Korea longer than 90 days have to register their address and apply for a Residence Card 🇰🇷🪪 It‘s necessary for many things, so I recommend you to get it as soon as you can! Here the steps: 1 DOCUMENTS 📃 The most important part is to make sure you have all documents: - Visa Grant Notice - ID Photo (35x45mm) - Application Form - Residence Confirmation (from landlord) - Housing Contract - ID Copy of landlord - etc. 2 SCHEDULING 📅 Make an appointment at HiKorea.go.kr within 90 days in the for your location correct Immigration Office. (For example, people living in Mapogu, need to go to Seoul Southern Office.. you can check this on the website by searching for your address) 3 APPOINTMENT ⏰ Make sure to be on time, bring all documents, your passport and the necessary fee of 30,000₩. (I recommend to bring it in cash) 4 RECEIVING 🪪 After about 4-6 weeks you can have your card sent to you via post (extra fee) or pick it up at the immigration office. Important disclaimer: This information can change at any time and can vary a lot depending on your visa type and so on.
