This restaurant had been on my list for over a decade and I finally decided to splurge and treat myself to dinner here for my birthday last November! @benu_sf was the first restaurant in San Francisco to earn 3 Michelin stars back in 2014 and they’ve held the honor ever since ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chef @clee_benu was the head chef at the iconic French Laundry for years before opening his flagship restaurant. The tasting menu features Asian-inspired dishes that draw from many different cuisines including Korean and Cantonese. My favorite bites of the night include all of the small delicacies that opened the meal (including fried frog legs reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken), lobster coral XLB, and marinated raw spot prawns served with everything to make your own little hand rolls 🦐 It was definitely a meal to remember and absolutely worth the splurge! Add it to your list for a special occasion dinner, you won’t regret it! #wendaneatssf #wendaneats . . . #michelinstar #finedining #sfeats #sffood #sffoodie #sfrestaurants #eatersf #bestfoodsf #bayareafood #bayareafoodie #sf #sanfrancisco #alwayssf #onlyinsf #thesanfrancisco #sflife #sfblogger #ilovesf #howsfseessf
