the one and only rule I live by I used to PRIDE myself in overworking. I got my first job at 14. I started working two jobs at 18 and worked both until I was 21, and then… I got a third job 🥲🧚‍♀️ I always felt best when I was the most productive. My worth was entirely measured on how busy I was that I would even feel guilty if I had more than two days off a row. I never saw it as a problem. Until I stopped. I realised through travelling that trading all of my time for money was the worst thing I could be doing as someone in their twenties. I never did it for fancy clothes, the newest iPhone or a nice car. I was addicted to watching the number in my bank account grow, and for what? When I left home to travel in 2022 I had a lot of savings, and I even felt a sense of guilt when I was spending them. But the more I experienced the less I cared about the money - and the more I just wanted to travel 🧳 so when I ran out of savings I went back to work again, but no matter how much I wanted my savings to refill I wanted to travel more. So I stopped working after 3 months and I started travelling again and now I’m earning with social media and I hate to say it but maybe I’m ditching the 9-5 for good . . . . #moveabroad #traveller #aussieabroad #liveabroad #nomad #portugal #lifeabroad
