Tips for a day at Wimbledon (on a Budget) 🎾👟 1. Join the Iconic Wimbledon Queue: • Ground Passes: Cost between £20-£30. • Early Arrival: Join the queue as early as possible to secure tickets. Weekdays offer a better chance. He will be greeted at arrival by the stewards who will give you a card with a number, you will then stay on the queue and wait till opening of the gates! (Bring a blanket so you can sit on the floor) • Access: Ground passes allow full entry to the Wimbledon grounds, facilities, and open courts. If you are early enough, you might still be able to buy tickets to the more expensive courts, if you wish. 2. Refreshments: • Strawberries and Cream: Just £2.50 per portion, the same price since 2010, the boxes are pretty big but inside you will see they are not even half full 😅 I guess do it for the experience 😂. 3. Bring Your Own Picnic: • Picnic Spot: Henman Hill is perfect for enjoying your own food. • Beverage Allowance: You can bring the equivalent of one bottle of wine or Champagne per person. 4. Free Activities: • There’s a few shops on the grounds and a museum. By following these tips, you can enjoy the Wimbledon experience without breaking the bank!
