Arequipa Peru was a surprise in the best way. After ten days in Peru I had wanted to spend more time in Cusco but my husband insisted we go to Arequipa. \n-The city is not nearly as touristy as other parts of the country and the natural beauty was unmatched from town. \n-The city is surrounded by 20,000 foot volcanoes with amazing Inca history, the people where so nice and friendly , the street food was top notch and the museums and monastery. \n-We were there for a public holiday in which we had fireworks and free dancing in the square as well as being awaken mom at 6am for a military parade. \n-our hotel @katarihotelatplazadearmas was amazing! It had a rooftop restaurant and bar in which we had a wonderful breakfast and drinks \n If you have time I highly recommend a stop over.
