Lost in the mystical heights of Meteora, where ancient monasteries touch the sky and nature whispers its secrets. This mystical, breathtaking place is home for six monasteries, built on immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders. If you are visiting the area, I would recommend to rent a car. It’s easier to get around as the hike can be quite long, specially in the Summer. It’s an amazing place, where you can feel the harmony with nature and where you can see an amazing landscape from the various view points. The sunset is fantastic but make aside to go early to find a good spot as it can get crowded.
