LOCATION ⬇️ 💾 Save this post for your next trip to Rotorua! I stumbled on this spot during my last Rotorua trip and honestly couldn’t believe it was completely FREE. 📍 Kuirau Park, Rotorua 🗓 Best early morning and on weekdays for fewer crowds and cooler air – the steam looks extra magical at sunrise or sunset. 🚶 Just park for free on the street or in the park carpark and walk in. It’s right in central Rotorua, so super easy to access. Bring a towel to dry your feet and maybe a spare pair of socks/shoes. ♨️ The foot pools are hot but safe. The park also has geothermal mud pools, gardens, and walking paths. Keep to the marked paths (the fenced-off pools are way too hot to touch!) and leave yourself at least 30–45 minutes to enjoy it properly. ✨ Follow @getlostwithliam for more hidden gems and free things to do around New Zealand! #visitnz #newzealandtravel #newzealandguide #beautifuldestinations #nzroadtrip
