
⚠️This was creating using videos in the past. ▼Spots info▼ 👇🏼Recommended Access Methods ◼︎Kitano Tenmangu Shrine ※Momiji-en Garden Open to the Public (Late October to Early December) ⑴Kyoto City Bus Route No. 50 (Bound for Nijo Castle, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, and Ritsumeikan University) ---The appeal of this route is that it requires minimal walking, with a travel time of about 35 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. ⑵Kyoto City Bus Route No. 206 or No. 6 This route involves more walking from the bus stop to Kitano Tenmangu but offers more frequent service. Take either Kyoto City Bus Route No. 206 (bound for Daitoku-ji and Kitaoji Bus Terminal) or Route No. 6 (bound for Bukkyo University and Gentaku) from Kyoto Station and get off at Senbon Imadegawa. The travel time is approximately 25 to 30 minutes, followed by an 8-minute walk to Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. ◼︎Sanzen-in Temple To reach Ohara, take Kyoto Bus Route No. 19 from “Kokusaikaikan Station.” ⑴Using JR Line (from Kyoto Station) Take the Kyoto City Subway to “Kokusaikaikan Station,” then transfer to Kyoto Bus Route No. 19 at “Kokusaikaikan-mae.” ⑵Using Hankyu Line From “Karasuma Station,” transfer to Kyoto City Subway at “Shijo Station” and get off at “Kokusaikaikan Station.” From there, take Kyoto Bus Route No. 19 at “Kokusaikaikan-mae.” ⑶Using Keihan Line From “Demachiyanagi Station,” take Kyoto Bus Route No. 17 to Ohara. Alternatively, take the Eizan Railway to “Yase-Hieizanguchi Station” and then take Kyoto Bus Routes No. 19 or No. 17. ◼︎Nanzen-ji Temple ⑴by train Take the Kyoto City Subway Tozai Line to “Keage Station” and walk for 10 minutes. ⑵By bus Get off at either “Higashitenno-cho” or “Nanzen-ji, Eikando-michi” bus stops and walk for 10 minutes. 📝 It’s finally the season to enjoy the beautiful fall colors.
