📍Yoshino. Nara, Japan. This place was so healing and peaceful. While talking to the 70 year old Japanese locals, I learned that the youngest person in their village is 40 years old. Can you believe it? It made me realise the severity of declining population in Japan. All the young people moving to big cities like Tokyo and Osaka, leaving small villages like Yoshino with a few elderly people. It was a harsh reality. But it was so nice talking to them.
