We usually rent cars directly, but this time we got a good deal & booked through Booking.com for £36* for 2 days and we picked up the car directly from the airport *This price was booked in June 2024 Without a credit card, the rental company charged an extra £72 for full insurance. If booked directly, we could have paid a £500 deposit in cash/ direct debit and stick with the standard insurance.
