3️⃣ Mistakes you should avoid when visiting 📍Pisa, Italy 🇮🇹 Tell us in the comments if you already visited the city or it’s on your travel list ✈️ ✨ While the Leaning Tower of Pisa is iconic, don’t miss the Cathedral which is FREE to visit. Get your ticket from the office and be prepared to be amazed by its wooden 17th-century coffered ceiling, painted and decorated with gold leaf ✨ Not strolling along the river Arno which goes all the way through Pisa. Admire the impressive buildings and churches alongside. The most iconic is Pisa’s tiny church , Santa Maria della Spina, which served as a prayer hall for sailors directly by the river ✨ Not being aware of the Leaning Tower’s visit restrictions: like no backpacks and kids under 8 not allowed. All children between 8 and 18 can climb the Tower with an accompanying adult. Hand bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom before the visit and picked up at the end of the visit. The visit takes about 30 minutes.
