You can also reserve your free parking spot online. 2️⃣ Head to Northstar Village Hop on the free shuttle from the parking lot to the Northstar village. You’ll find restaurants, shops, and the gondola base there. 3️⃣ Look for the Highlands Gondola This complimentary gondola takes visitors and guests up to the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe, located mid-mountain. 4️⃣ Board the Gondola No tickets needed—just line up, hop on, and soak in the breathtaking views as you ascend. It’s a magical experience! 5️⃣ Explore at the Ritz-Carlton Once there, grab a coffee at Café Blue (we loved it! ) or dine at one of their amazing restaurants while taking in the stunning ski and mountain views. 6️⃣ Return to Northstar Village When you’re ready to head back, take the gondola down and hop on the shuttle to your parking lot (Castle Peak lot shuttles leave from the Blue Lot).
