: Edit- I visited Alviso Marina County Park for the first time the day I recorded this and didn’t know it was forbidden to walk on or touch the salt ponds. Since I saw so many people walking on them, even with a ranger nearby and no trespassing signs in sight, I assumed it was okay to do so. Thank you to everyone in the comments who kindly educated me about this. Please, if you visit, be mindful and avoid walking on the salt ponds. Just enjoy exploring from a distance. Caption- OMG! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this salt pond! I visited Alviso hoping to see the red ponds, but instead, the water had dried/drained up, revealing the salt beneath. It felt like stepping onto another planet! I made sure to go at sunset, and let me tell you, it was one of the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve seen! This video was taken on October 2nd, so don’t miss out on this rare and stunning sight—head over now! Tag someone you’d love to explore this with, and be sure to tag me in your photos!
