The hotel had a good location in a quiet area with parking available. The room had AC, which was perfect for the hot day and night we had 🚙 We usually rent cars directly, but this time we got a good deal & booked through Booking.com for £36 for 2 days. Without a credit card, the rental company charged an extra £72 for full insurance. If booked directly, we could have paid a £500 deposit in cash/ direct debit and stick with the standard insurance. Great service from @EasyRentBulgaria—they understood the situation and upgraded our car! Plus a full tank of gas cost £58 🗺️ We’ve visited several caves: Prohodna Cave (free entrance), Saeva Dupka Cave (BGN 5~ £2 per person), Devetashka Cave (BGN 3~ £1,30) and Krushuna Falls (BGN 5~ £2) 🍽️ We drove over 600 km in 2 days, so we were on the road most of the time and didn't have time to stop frequently and eat in restaurants. However, before our flight, we ate at House of Music @hom.s.bar a local family restaurant with traditional food- really delicious. They also have nights of live music—amazing place and 100% recommended.
