chrisbg — Nara Park

Spent the day wandering around the breathtaking Isuien Garden in Nara, Japan. This place is a pure oasis - seriously, it’s like stepping into a painting! 🖼️ Did you know Isuien means ‘Garden founded on water’? 🌊It’s made up of two gardens from different eras: one from the Edo period and the other from the Meiji period. History buffs, this one’s for you! 🕰️ Travel tip: Try to visit early in the morning or late afternoon when it’s less crowded. And don’t forget to take a break at the teahouse overlooking the pond – the matcha tea is a must-try! 🍵👌 After soaking in the serenity at Isuien, I’d suggest heading over to Todai-ji Temple, just a short walk away. You can marvel at the Great Buddha and maybe even encounter some friendly deer in Nara Park. 🦌💕 And of course, no trip to Nara would be complete without trying some local delicacies - kakinoha sushi, anyone? 🍣 #japanesgarden #nara #japantravel #japantrip
