When you visit the Arctic Circle in the winter instead of Mexico… We had SO MUCH fun visiting Northern Norway in the winter! Was it cold? YES. Was it worth it? 100%. If you’re planning a trip, make sure you keep these things in mind - 🌞 Different areas have different climates, so be prepared! The Lofoten Islands were relatively mild, but Tromso… not so much. 🌙 Keep in mind that there is minimal (or no) sunlight!!! If you’re hoping to hike, you have to plan well. 🎟️ If you have excursions in mind, book early! Things can fill up fast. 🏨 Glass igloos are a super fun way to see the Northern Lights!
