Before you all freak out: it’s not our baby xD Now that this is clarified, let’s talk about WHEN I felt like being “home” in South Korea 🇰🇷❤️ I think the first though of “I could stay here for a while” and the time I felt more and more comfortable started about 9 months after I moved to South Korea in November 2021. ⏰ I got more comfortable speaking Korean, had a daily routine and most importantly started traveling around A LOT. 🗺️ Until then I saw it as a “sabbatical” - a break from my career - that should’ve ended after a year. But when I slowly started to actually really enjoy my time here the thought of going back 3 months later was frightening and literally gave me nightmares. 🙈 So I applied for one more semester at Sogang University and started doing research about Visa options after that. I already decided I wanted to stay longer, when I then met @gunuw228 who gave me another reason to stay ❤️ And now I see it as my second home.. a part of my heart will for ever stay here, no matter what the future holds for me or where I will end up living. 🇰🇷🫶🏼 #southkorea #expat #living #seoul #moveabroad #seoullife #moveabroad #korealife #livinginkorea #lifeinkorea #workinkorea #travel
