One of my favourite ways to see London is honestly just getting the Uber Boat on the Thames. It doesn’t even feel like transport… more like a slow sightseeing cruise you accidentally booked with your Oyster card. You can hop on from places like Westminster or even Battersea and just float through the city for about 45–60 minutes. You’ll pass the London Eye, St Paul’s, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and all the way down to Greenwich. You can tap in with contactless/Oyster or book it on the Uber app, super easy. Sit outside if you can (even if it’s a bit chilly, just bring a jacket). That’s the best bit. And if you go at sunset… the whole river might turn gold. London does have magical sunsets.
