Ancient Pictographs
Bon Echo Rock boasts over 260 Indigenous pictographs, making it one of the largest and most significant collections of such rock art in North America. These red ochre paintings depict human figures, animals, and mythological creatures.
Canada's 2nd Deepest Lake
Mazinaw Lake, which the famous rock face overlooks, is the second deepest lake in Ontario, reaching depths of over 145 meters (476 feet). This depth contributes to its unique ecosystem.
