Historic Building
The museum is housed in a former federal courthouse and U.S. Post Office building. This building was the site of one of the 14 Kefauver Committee hearings held in Las Vegas in 1950, which exposed organized crime's influence in the city.
Original Courtroom
The courtroom where the Kefauver hearings took place has been restored and is a key exhibit. Visitors can listen to actual wiretaps and recordings related to mob activity.
St. Valentine's Day Massacre
The museum features a section of the actual brick wall from the garage where the St. Valentine's Day Massacre took place in Chicago in 1929. This wall is riddled with bullet holes.
