Vigeland Park boasts an impressive collection of 212 sculptures, all created by the same artist, Gustav Vigeland. He designed every piece, from the bronze figures to the granite and cast-iron works.
Years of Creation
It took Gustav Vigeland a remarkable 20 years to complete his vision for the park, designing both the sculptures and the park's layout. Sadly, he passed away six years before its completion in 1949.
