Changdeokgung carries a calm seasonal mood when the foliage deepens. Built in 1405, the palace follows the contours of the land, and that design becomes even clearer once the maples and ginkgo trees shift into their late-October tones. Paths around Injeongjeon and Nakseonjae feel especially atmospheric in this period, and the entrance to the Secret Garden hints at how large the rear grounds truly are. If you’re planning a visit, mornings provide steady movement and easier views across the courtyards. Comment Fall to get my Seoul foliage map.
