Ten spring days, one long pink trail across Korea. We started with 2 days in Seoul, chasing blossoms without spending the whole time in the usual crowds. Think quieter walks through Seoul Forest, Seoripul Park, Anyangcheon Cherry Blossom Road, and little streets like Yanghwa-ro 6-gil when the city starts to soften in spring.  Then south to Seosan for the yellow sea around House of Yu Gibang, a 1919 hanok wrapped in daffodils that feels completely different from the usual cherry blossom stops.  In Gurye, spring comes with layers: the famous pink plum blossoms at Hwaeomsa, then cherry blossom drives and walks along the Seomjingang Cherry Blossom Trail. After that, Hwagae’s Simni Cherry Blossom Road gave us one of those stretches where the road itself becomes the destination.  Gyeongju and Busan carried the trip into full bloom, from Gyeongju’s classics like Bomun Tourist Complex, Daereungwon, and Cheomseongdae, to Busan spots such as Oncheoncheon, Dalmaji-gil, and the eco parks that turn spring into a full city-wide season.  We finished with 3 days in Jeju, where spring feels bigger, brighter, and a little earlier. Jeonnong-ro, the road by Jeju National University, Jangjeon-ri in Aewol, and even drives near Daeheul-ri all show why Jeju’s king cherry blossoms have their own reputation.
