What to do if you have 1 day in Bruges! 👇 Bruges was absolutely charming and beautiful but it was by far the busiest and most crowded city we visited in Belgium! The last 2 spots I listed are much quieter and I really enjoyed the peaceful vibes there 😌 🏥 Old Saint John’s Hospital: nice view of the Church of Our Lady from here, there’s also a museum onsite 🛶 Boniface Bridge: beautiful views of the canal and the boats 🔔 Belfort: medieval bell tower with incredible views over the whole town. Make sure to book tickets online ahead of time! 🔲 Grote Markt: bustling town square with the prettiest facades ✨ Provincial Court: gorgeous gothic revival building, free and open to the public 🪡 Lace shop: Bruges is known for lace and there are lots of shops you can visit and see the beautiful intricate lace and buy souvenirs 🍫 Chocolate workshop: Belgian chocolate is world-renowned and you can take a fun workshop to make your own chocolates to take home.
