If you want to visit Lake Como in Italy, you have to visit here…. Lake Atitlan in Guatemala is sometimes referred to as the “Lake Como of Latin America” and in my opinion, it definitely lives up to the hype. While it’s actually quite different than Italy, it’s uniquely beautiful in its own way. An expansive lake surrounded by charming towns that are typically accessed via boat, with each town having its own flair. The views are stunning all around (it’s surrounded by volcanos everywhere you turn), and the vibes are perfection.
