Looking for somewhere new in California to travel this fall? Try @constellationcreek in Sierraville, just an hour north of Tahoe (and without the crowds 😉). The cabins are super cute, very cozy—rooms have a little electric fireplace to keep them warm—and in a beautiful part of the Sierra Nevada. Dogs and kids welcome. . I love this little retreat any time of the year, but going in autumn means fall foliage and excellent bird watching. . Nearby: lots of waterfalls, lakes, and hikes only locals know about 😉.
