wheresjessieb — Emerald Bay State Park

Fully taking advantage of the state I live in this summer 😎 hbu? . Honestly, it took moving to the Tahoe area (part time) to fully appreciate summers here. For years, I mostly roughed it, camping somewhere sort of nearby in the mountains. But I’m slowly appreciating that sometimes, it can be fun to go full bougie. If that’s the vibe, here’s my recipe for a perfect fancy North Shore lake day: ☀️ Pick up wine, ceviche, and snacks from @truckeefoodshop in Truckee or New Moon in Tahoe City. ☀️ Rent a boat from @marinasunnyside near Tahoe City, @westshoresport in Homewood, or @boatsetter ☀️ Swim in Emerald Bay ☀️ Swing by @chamberstahoe for a boozy slushie (watch out, they’re dangerous) on your way back . Tip: If you have flexibility (or some PTO days you haven’t used!) go on a weekday for less crowds and cheaper prices. . This video is from an outing with @ritzcarltonlaketahoe — which has a private lakeside club house for guests visiting in the summer. . 👉 Follow @wheresjessieb for more fun travel ideas in California. . #jessiebintahoe #california #visitcalifornia
