Pungmul -> Do you know what it is? Pungmul is a traditional Korean performance that blends drumming, dance, and community energy you can actually feel. It’s one of those cultural moments that stops you in your tracks, and once you understand it, it becomes even more powerful to watch. This past weekend we saw a huge Pungmul celebration at the Jeju Fire Festival. Troupes from all across Jeju came together to dance together to celebrate the coming of spring and wishing for a bountiful harvest this year.
