Getting ready for Lunar New Year -> the Hanbok From my more traditional Hanbok which I had made at Gwangjang Market to my easy, modern pieces from LEESLE , Teterot Salon, and even one I found on Coupang, each one tells a slightly different story. The silhouette hasn’t changed much in hundreds of years, but the fabrics, lengths, and styling have evolved so we can celebrate holidays like Seollal (Lunar New Year) in a way that fits our lives today. I wore a full traditional hanbok for my Korean wedding, but these days I love how modern hanboks let me move, bow, and celebrate comfortably. Traditional has become trendy, and I’m here for it.
