I just discovered this hidden gem winery AND it has a museum-level art gallery. Nestled in the forest on top of Mount Veeder overlooking Napa, it’s hard to believe @hesscollection is just an hour north of San Francisco! They’re known for their distinctive Napa Cabernets and, as a family-owned winery, they have a little fun crafting small batch sustainable wines. The property was sooooo peaceful and serene and the original stone building is a work of art itself. But my favorite part was exploring the massive art collection. We’re talking Frank Stella, Morris Louis, and an Andy Goldsworthy piece, Surface Tension, that you really need to see before the collection rotates.
