Summer also offers the midnight sun, while late September can bring beautiful autumn colors and fewer crowds. Winter (November to February) is ideal for chasing the Northern Lights, but expect short days and challenging road conditions. GETTING AROUND 🚗 While many main attractions are accessible by regular car, some remote areas and Highlands routes require a 4x4 vehicle – especially if you plan to drive on F-roads. Always check road conditions in advance, as weather can change quickly. #iceland #mustvisitplaces #guide
