📍Shimane, Japan Don’t get me wrong, I love me some tourist spots. But over the years of traveling… I just felt exhausted at the thought of squeezing through people, waiting forever for a picture, and having strangers in my pictures. I noticed I preferred hanging out with a close friend- catching up over delicious food, strolling through a park, and making a prayer at the shrine. There is something so special about waking up late, watching the sunset, taking 3 hour train rides, and going to the onsen together.
