adventure_exists — John F. Kennedy International Airport

As someone who does not have public transit where I live, taking it in large cities can always be super intimidating. Especially after a red eye flight. Getting into JFK pulling up uber and seeing the shuttle was fully booked and an uber car was going to be $120 I said nope! I had seen two TikTok’s talking about how easy it was to get from JFK to penn station so I figured I would go for it! And honestly it was super easy and saved me $105!! Here are the steps: 1. Look for the Airtrain Signs and take the one going to Jamaica station. Get on. You do not pay till you arrive at Jamaica station. can use tap to pay. 2. Head toward the Long Island Railroad signs or LIRR. 3. If you are like me and don’t have the app buy a paper ticket at a kiosk for Penn station. 4. Look at the signs and go the platform for penn station. 5. On the train the conductor will come grab your ticket. 6. Arrive in mid-town NYC for $15! If you are traveling alone this is a great way to save money for food, activities or more shopping. #nyc #travel #midrange
