◽︎ A beautiful summer found at Kamigamo. There are many places that define summer in Kyoto, but this one might be my favorite. Wind, water, and sound. That is what a Kyoto summer is made of. — Kamigamo Shrine has stood for over 1,300 years, making it one of the oldest in the city. Each summer, more than a thousand wind chimes are hung above the Nara stream that runs through its grounds. Honestly, this isn’t something words or footage can fully carry.
