Did you see the 🌈?? Seeing Kauai from an open door helicopter was such an incredible experience! 🥹 Truly a must-do We booked with @aliiairtours and had a great time (not sponsored!) All their tour are private so you don’t have to share your helicopter with anyone else 🚁 Here are some helpful tips if you’re looking to do this activity in Kauai: ▶ Be flexible in your schedule. Book your tour earlier in your trip in case they need to reschedule due to weather. Our initial booking got cancelled as we were waiting to board but luckily we were able to book another tour on our last day. They take safety very seriously so they won’t fly if conditions are less than ideal. ▶ Dress in long pants and long sleeves as it can get chilly up there even on a hot day ▶ If you have long hair, put it in braids or a bun!!! They told me this and I took it to mean that a ponytail would be good enough but IT WAS NOT. It was so windy up there that my hair was whipping my face which hurt AND it got all tangled up and I spent so long detangling it after the ride... now I understand why they said bun or braids so learn from my mistake!! ▶ They give you a cell phone lanyard so you can take photos and videos safely Would you do something like this?
