In London for Design Week 2025 @materialmatters.design, I’m presenting my cornstarch bioplastic works with @the.material.way ✨ (special thanks to our mentor @albertebojesen) My material research began in Brooklyn, NY and has since traveled with me through Oslo, Seoul, Tuscany, and most recently Paris @lairarts 🤓 Each location added a new layer to the process, deepening my relationship with the material. The corn husks and fibers I’ve been working with come from my grandmother’s farm in South Korea 🌽 — making this presentation in London especially meaningful. It feels like a culmination of many experiments now coming together, alongside incredible fellow artists and designers from around the world.
