Memories from The Gramounce Food&Art altMA Mexico City residency in January 2026. I could only be present for half of it while preparing for upcoming exhibitions — but still experienced the Anthropology Museum, the highlands of Milpa, and the lowlands of Lago Texcoco. Feeling especially inspired by the producers and caretakers I met along the way — from corn and maguey to pulque makers, and the harvesters of spirulina algae, ahuautle, and tequesquite salt from Lago Texcoco.
