piperslifeabroad — Madrid

I started creating content on piperslifeabroad with my iPhone 11 a liiiittle over a year ago 🗓️ no laptop, no fancy camera, and no editing or vlogging experience. Just the iPhone 11 I bought while travelling in Madrid after drunkenly losing mine 🤡 And when I started this account, I didn’t do it for likes, or followers, or popularity. I don’t actually care for any of that at all. I wanted it to become my source of income. 🗺️ So I could continue my travels without running back to a job to refill my savings. I didn’t know how long it would take, I didn’t know what was actually going to work for me - but I tried it alllll. 📋 Brand deals, UGC, affiliate programs, digital products - and most of it worked but it wasn’t a guaranteed amount each month, and it was slightly anxiety inducing to know I didn’t have a solid income month to month. It took me a bit of trial and error to figure out what I actually enjoyed doing, and what was earning me enough 💸 spoiler: It wasn’t in one off brand deals, product ugc, digital products or commission based partnerships. 💻 It was actually in tech ugc. Creating simple, short form content for travel apps, ai tools and websites. Where I had ongoing monthly contracts, and earn a base salary each month per client + bonuses. My follower count didn’t matter, my experience didn’t matter, and on my third month in I made my first four figures (sounds crazy). Annnd because I’ve been documenting my journey since day 1 I thought it was only fair to share exactly how I moved into this space. 🔍 How to find these deals, land, scale and I even have direct contact with a few brands looking for new creators 👀 if you’re like me and you’re not interested in the influencer lifestyle - just the 💰 to explore, enjoy and not worry about having to refill your savings. Comment “tech” and I’ll send you all the info 🌀🧘♀️🌴 #moveabroad #traveller #aussieabroad #liveabroad #nomad
