This was the view from one of the top floor apartments in @edgar_suites’ Louvre apartment building—a 17th century building that was once a museum and has since been renovated into gorgeous vacation rentals. I wound up staying in two separate flats by the company while in Paris (they have a few buildings throughout the city, as well as Lille and Bordeaux) and had a wonderful experience in both. Besides the style and charm, they’re well equipped and very professionally managed. There’s a 24/7 virtual concierge and a staff member who comes to check the functionality of the apartment regularly—no leaky faucets here! I also love some of the ideas they plan to implement soon: a cafe downstairs that can do “room service”, bike rentals delivered to your door, and partnerships with a nearby spa to give you a more hotel-like experience, but in your very own Parisian flat.
