As mid-range travelers who try to stick to a budget the worst thing is when you spend money on something that afterwards if you think it was worth it. So here are my opinions and all the activities we did while we were in Costa Rica. -Arenal National Park-we spent several hours walking around getting in the views seeing all the wildlife it was fairly cheap. There was no big lines or big groups of people. We just gotta enjoy being in nature so definitely worth it. -the Mistico hanging Bridges-here’s the thing I feel like everyone always says you need to do these, however for us we were quite underwhelmed by the whole experience and overwhelmed by the price tag. We have done hanging bridges before in other countries like New Zealand that were nice. These definitely felt like you were at an amusement park with all the people. My recommendation if you’re looking to do, this is to make reservations for first thing in the morning that will limit the lines and give you more time to enjoy without the crowds. -La Fortuna Waterfall- we went right when they opened and we would highly recommend doing that we had the whole place to ourselves pretty much the first half hour 45 minutes after that it gets super super busy so this is one that you can get up in the morning. It’s definitely worth it for the price. Canyoning-this was an all day activity like literally all day from 9 AM to 3 PM and it was fantastic and it included lunch which is a money saver when you know how expensive food is in Costa Rica definitely need not to be afraid of heights and being in good physical condition, for this. Drinks at beach bar-honestly we just have drinks that most beach bars to be overly priced and super watered down and didn’t taste super great. Highly recommend skipping the beach bar and going somewhere else or popping in to a store and picking up your own drinks. Manuel Antonio National Park-this is one again where you need to get there straight in the morning you need to book early for the 8 AM slot otherwise it feels like you’re kind of walking through an wild zoo with how many people are around.
