marinaexplores_ — Quiraing

This isn’t just one of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes… it’s still moving. 🤯 📍The Quiraing, Isle of Skye The Quiraing was formed by a massive ancient landslip, and the land is still slowly shifting today. In fact, the road below often needs repairing because the landscape continues to move. Towering cliffs, dramatic rock formations, and endless green plateaus make this one of the most surreal places on the Isle of Skye, looking like something straight out of a fantasy film. 🥾 The full circular hike is around 4.3 miles (7 km), but even a short walk rewards you with incredible panoramic views across the Trotternish Ridge and the coastline, I had limited time so that’s what I did. If you’re road-tripping through the Scottish Highlands, this is a stop you simply can’t miss. ✨ Would you hike The Quiraing?
